STERLING, Va., Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- REI Systems announced today that the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded the firm a contract to provide software development, program management, and operational support for its expansive portfolio of federal health care grant and non-grant programs. The five-year, single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a ceiling value of $175 Million. This award represents both a continuation and an expansion of the technology-based support REI has provided the agency continuously since 2003.

To help HRSA meet its subcontracting goals and to complement its own offering, REI selected six firms as teaming partners: 22nd Century Technologies, Analytica, Centuria, eGlobalTech, Management Solutions Consulting Group (MSCG), and Synectics for Management Decisions (SMDI).

"This vehicle allows REI to address the technical and business problems that HRSA will face over the next five years," said Subhash Kari, REI Systems Vice President, "These include technology areas such as business process management, cloud, mobility, data visualization, systems integration, and reporting, and, business areas such as performance management, program oversight, and risk-based grants management. We are proud to be selected by HRSA for another term."

"If there is one thing we pride ourselves on at REI, it's our ability to take care of our customers for the long haul. We are very excited to have the opportunity to translate ten years of goodwill with HRSA into new and innovative solutions for supporting the HRSA staff and HRSA grantees – and ultimately realizing the important social impacts of the $7 Billion of annual funding to states, localities, and non-governmental organizations that provide critical primary health care services to poor and underserved communities nationwide," remarked Scott Fletcher, REI's Chief Operating Officer.
