HealthCare Partners Names New Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel

DENVER, Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- HealthCare Partners LLC., a leading independent medical group in America, today announced that Ilene Moore is joining HealthCare Partners as general counsel effective Feb. 1 2016.

With 19 years of legal experience, Moore joins HealthCare Partners from The Permanente Federation, LLC, where she was general counsel. In this role, she oversaw the legal functions of the Federation, Permanente Advantage and the Permanente Foundation, and provided senior leadership with legal and strategic advice. In addition, Moore has served as the general counsel for the Colorado Permanente Medical Group and in the Office of the Colorado Attorney General, most recently as first assistant attorney general for Medical Unit, Business and Licensing Section. Early in her career, Moore served as associate general counsel and executive director for the United Food and Commercial Workers, Local No. 7, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Moore received her juris doctor (JD) degree from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. She also served on the Women's Law Caucus and supported the Women's Violence Survival Project at Boston City Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in political science, cum laude, with minors in Sociology and Law and Society from the University of California, San Diego.
