Heidrick & Struggles Adds New Leader to Head Western Europe
Sylvain Dhenin joins as Managing Partner
ZURICH, June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII), the premier provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping worldwide, strengthens its European leadership with the addition of Sylvain Dhenin as Managing Partner – Western Europe. He will be based in the firm's Zurich office and reports to Luis Urbano, Region Leader – Europe and Africa.
In addition to operating responsibility for France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and the Benelux countries, Dhenin will advise and serve clients at the highest level across the region as a senior member of the firm's CEO & Board practice in Europe.

Dhenin had been Vice Chairman of a global executive search firm and head of its European, Middle East and Asia Pacific operations and led a significant expansion of that firm's presence in Europe. Previously, he was Managing Partner of another executive search firm, leading its operations in France. He began his career at Danone, the multi-national food products company.
Dhenin has recruited CEOs, C-suite executives and non-executive directors for some of the world's leading companies. He has extensive experience in a broad range of industries, including industrial, financial services, pharmaceutical, technology, media and telecommunications, professional services and private equity.
Dhenin has been named to Business Week's Top 50 List of the "World's Most Influential Headhunters." He holds a Business Degree from the High Business School of Bordeaux, one of the top business schools in France.
