Heilbron Award Presented to Bridgepoint Education for Good Works in 2012

(NYSE: BPI) has been awarded the 2013 Heilbron Award for Outstanding Service to the Community by San Diego Rotary Club 33 and the San Diego Business Journal. Bridgepoint won first place in the large company category for its charitable activities in 2012, thanks in large part to its support of 279 non-profits, more than 9,000 volunteer hours on behalf of the organization's employees, and donations totaling more than $1.9 million.
