Ratchet P Clamp, Low Profile Metal Edge Clip
The Ratchet P Clamp is an adjustable, releasable clamp that bolts on to racking. Its one-piece, PA66 nylon solid body and stamped metal mounting plate create a lightweight, durable, innovative alternative to traditional products for managing free-air conductors within a PV array. "The Ratchet P Clamp reduces the number of fixing points required to safely secure wires and bundles," said Nick Korth, Product Marketing Manager – Energies at HellermannTyton. The new, Low Profile Metal Edge Clip is designed to fit solar racking products while providing the low insertion and high extraction force characteristics demonstrated by all HellermannTyton edge clips. Solar mounting designs need to balance minimal racking weight with the strength to endure harsh environmental conditions. The Low Profile Metal Edge Clip is engineered to match the width and height of lightweight solar racks and establish a fixing point for cable ties that stands up to wind, rain, snow and UV exposure.
25-Year Rated Metal Solar Placards
HellermannTyton Metal Solar Placards offer 25-year rated performance, are available in pre-printed, hand-writable and engravable styles, and meet NEC, IFC, OSHA and ANSI labeling requirements. According to Todd Fries, Marketing Manager – ID, "With California and other states moving to NEC 2014, more municipalities will require marking that meets Article 690 guidelines to pass inspection. Metal Solar Placards meet ANSI requirements for text size, colors and inclusion of the safety alert symbol."
