Helping Homebuyers Live their Dreams: The $260,000 Great Home Giveaway Goes into Action

ATLANTA, Aug. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Thanks to The Great Home Giveaway, homebuyers in Massachusetts, Arizona, and Southern California are living their dreams. Today, the contest organizers announced the first three $10,000 winners, and encouraged prospective buyers to enter for the chance to win up to $100,000.

Sponsored by Commissions Inc., First Option Mortgage and more than 200 leading real estate agents nationwide, the contest will award a total of $260,000 in prizes to 17 lucky homebuyers through January 2015. Altogether, there will be 16 individual $10,000 cash prizes and a $100,000 Grand Prize. These awards are an ideal complement to cover home buying expenses.

The first winner, Michelle Campanella of Saugus, MA, is a single mother who had been saving for years until she found a new home in nearby Peabody with help from Mike Quail of The Quail Group at RE/MAX Advantage in Beverly. Michelle is putting her $10,000 toward furnishings. Meanwhile, Rose and Bob Maynard, a retired couple from Bermuda Dunes, CA, will make improvements to the home they purchased working with Bill Morgner of The Morgner Group in Palm Springs. Finally, Dennis and Alberta Barrett of the East Valley, Arizona area are teaming with Carol Royse and Vikki Royse Middlebrooks of The Carol Royse Team at Keller Williams Realty East Valley in Tempe to find their perfect home, and the funds will allow them to view more housing options.
