HemCon's main focus over the last 6 months has been to solidify the North American acute care hospital market. Having established a very experienced professional North America sales force, the company is now able to expand its reach and efforts into the European wound care market, a rapidly growing market estimated at over $6.8 billion[i].

HemCon currently has a strong distributor network in place, which has built a solid foundation and allows the European business to grow at the current annual rate of 50%. This dramatic growth is led by distributors within the U.K., the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Denmark and Italy, with many other partners in multiple countries now looking to expand HemCon's footprint.
