MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Henkel recently hosted its sixth annual Henkel Fore A Cause customer appreciation golf outing and charity event. Through registration fees, partner sponsorships and raffle tickets, Henkel's 2010 event raised $45,000 for Cornerstone Schools, a Detroit charter school dedicated to the excellence of its students in grades Pre-K-8.

Cristi Miles, Cornerstone Schools Alumni and sophomore at DePaul University, shared with participants the importance Cornerstone has played in her life. Cristi is currently studying Biology with aspirations of going to medical school.
In the six years that the event has been running, Henkel Fore A Cause, with the support of Henkel customers, suppliers and partners has raised over $300,000 for Cornerstone Schools.
