Hennion & Walsh Adds New UIT to SmartTrust Line-Up

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Jan. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hennion & Walsh, one of the nation's premier providers of investment services and an advocate for individual investors, is pleased to announce the launch of its SmartTrust®, Enhanced Value II Trust (2010 Series H), a new Unit Investment Trust (UIT) that further expands the firm's line-up of proprietary SmartTrust portfolios.

The SmartTrust, Enhanced Value II Trust (2010 Series H) seeks to provide a high level of income and total after-tax return. The two-year Trust (Ticker: SMEDAX) will invest in the common stock of 23 domestic and foreign companies, diversified among large, mid and small capitalization companies, primarily in the financial, telecommunication services and energy sectors. The trust will also invest in closed-end investment companies. There is no guarantee the trust will meet its investment objective.

Hennion & Walsh currently offers 14 UITs, including the newly added SmartTrust, Enhanced Value II Trust (2010 Series H). UITs generally invest in a fixed portfolio, typically for a predetermined period of time. Rather than selecting from individual stocks and bonds, UITs allow individuals to invest in a basket of securities with a single purchase.
