PARSIPPANY, N.J., April 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hennion & Walsh, a provider of investment services and an advocate for individual investors, will be sponsoring Jackson's 10th Annual Mulligan on Life Golf Outing on May 19 to raise funds to support organ donation programs.
Proceeds from the event, to be held at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, N.J., will benefit the Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit Gift of Life Family House, which provides affordable lodging and support to transplant patients and their families; funds will be administered through the Transplant Foundation, also a 501(c)(3) charity.
The fundraiser is named in honor of young organ recipient Jackson Heller, whose father, Gregg Heller, is a longtime Hennion & Walsh employee.
"After seeing firsthand the need for specialized resources to support transplant patients' families, we vowed to help further Gift of Life Family House's mission," said Bill Walsh, President and founding Partner of Hennion & Walsh.
Born with biliary atresia, a rare liver disease, Jackson endured two successive liver transplants as a baby, spending months at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and requiring his parents to make the grueling round trip from their N.J. home every day.
"Gift of Life Family House provides critical support to these families. We are honored to help serve the cause," said Rich Hennion, Founding Partner of Hennion & Walsh.
