PARSIPPANY, N.J., June 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hennion & Walsh sponsored the Jackson's Mulligan on Life Charity Golf Outing on Monday, June 6, 2016. The outing, in its twelfth year, was held at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, N.J. All funds raised will be donated to the Gift of Life Family House, which provides lodging, meals and supportive services to transplant patients and their families.
The Golf Outing was inspired by Jackson Heller, organ transplant recipient and son of longtime Hennion & Walsh financial advisor Gregg Heller. Jackson was born with biliary atresia, a rare liver disease and endured two successive liver transplants as a baby. As a result, he spent several months at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. "What Gregg and his family went through inspired us to help the Gift of Life Donor Program through our many donations and, in turn, helped build the Gift of Life Family House," said Rich Hennion, Partner of Hennion & Walsh.
It was perfectly fitting that the golfer to tee-off the event this year was none other than Jackson Heller. "Over the past 12 years we have donated over $300,000 and saw the Gift of Life House turn from a blue print into a reality," said Bill Walsh, President of Hennion & Walsh. He added, "We could not be more proud to be associated with The Gift of Life Family House."
