NEW YORK, June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On Monday, July 18^th, Heroes to Heroes Foundation will host its sixth annual golf classic at the Leewood Golf Club in Eastchester, New York. Located in the lower Westchester Community, Leewood Golf Club is known for its tight driving areas, fast greens and hilly terrain. It is a shot maker's course but provides a fun and challenging experience for all skill levels.

RVM is a proud sponsor of the Heroes to Heroes Foundation, a non-denominational 501(c)(3) organization. Heroes to Heroes Foundation provides a spiritual healing, suicide prevention, and peer support program for our most vulnerable veterans who suffer from Moral Injury and PTSD. The Partnering of American veterans with their Israeli peers is a ten day spiritual program to Israel. It gives the veterans the faith they've lost and helps to restore their lives and relationships.

In 2014, Harrison a veteran who was sponsored by Heroes to Heroes peer support program was planning to end his life. As he was writing the final note to his children before taking his life, Harrison received a call from a Heroes to Heroes coach. The coach, unaware of what he was interrupting, asked Harrison to consider taking part in the Heroes to Heroes spiritual journey to Israel. His mind was made up and Harrison refused any overtures from his coach. He was finished with life. Harrison did write down the coach's information and agreed to think about the program and to speak again twenty minutes later. Harrison gave the connection to Israel some thought and decided to give this spiritual journey a chance. When Harrison visited The Western Wall with the Team, he described "feeling overwhelmed by God's presence" and "being able to leave the bad stuff in his life through his hand on The Wall." Harrison has continued his healing and now returns to Israel with Heroes to Heroes Foundation as a Team coach to share that experience so he can help his fellow veterans.
