Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins Begins 2016 with New Appointments to Its Investment Committee
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Jan. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- To start the New Year, Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins (Hewins), a national, CPA-based financial advisor, has announced a series of new appointments to its Investment Committee: John Bussel has been appointed to Chief Investment Officer (CIO), while Rafia Hasan, CFA, CFP®, has been named Director of Investments.
Bussel succeeds Martha Post, CFA, Principal, in the role of CIO. According to Hewins, the shift will allow Post, who will continue to serve on the committee, to focus more intently on her role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), helping spearhead new initiatives for the firm and drive growth in 2016.
Bussel, who is a Principal and serves as Regional Director of Hewins' South Florida division, brings more than two decades of experience in investment management to the role, in which he will oversee the firm's investment program and approach.
