Driven by an annual growth rate of 18 percent, this marks the third consecutive year that Hewins has ranked within the list's top 50 firms, joining the ranks of fiduciary advisors that oversee a collective $467.5 billion in assets under management (AUM).
Today's investors face numerous challenges, making the need for objective financial advice all the more imperative. According to Forbes, the sharp uptick in AUM that registered investment advisors (RIAs) like Hewins have experienced over the past year is largely attributed to this growing demand.
And that growth shows no sign of slowing down. Cerulli Associates projects that RIAs will oversee 28 percent of managed retail investor assets by 2018, up from 20 percent in 2013.
