Leading Fast Casual Pizza Chain Hand Tosses a New Location in St. Louis
THE COLONY, Texas, April 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Meet me in St. Louis at the new Pie Five Pizza Co. On Friday, May 1, Pizza lovers in St. Louis will get their first taste of individual pizza perfection when the new Pie Five opens in Chesterfield Commons Village just South of I-64/40 at 11:00 a.m.

Guests can get a free taste at pre-opening events the Tuesday and Wednesday prior to opening. Space is limited and guests must sign up online to reserve a spot. A portion of proceeds from the pre-opening events will go to The St. Louis Crisis Center. The pizza party will continue after the opening on Friday, May 8 when radio station Y98 is onsite from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate the grand opening with $5 pies during the event.
Local franchise owners Jamey and Jill Tasker, Steve and Kristy Atkins, Marty and Teresa Tasker, and Rodney and Shawn Clark bring a wealth of restaurant operating experience to the mix. The grand opening marks the first Pie Five location in the St. Louis area and the second location in Missouri to serve up handcrafted, personalized pizzas.
The unique Pie Five model allows patrons to top their pizzas any way they want for the low price of $6.99, cooked in 145 seconds in a custom-designed, state-of-the-art oven. There are millions of possible pizza combinations Pie Five customers can create with four crusts (including artisan thin, classic pan, whole wheat grain Neapolitan and gluten-free), seven sauces and 29 fresh toppings. Additionally, they can add one of Pie Five's freshly-tossed hand-made salads served in a baked pizza dough bowl or a decadent home-baked brownie or cookie pie.
This location will also serve the St. Louis Supreme which features Tuscan Marinara with St. Louis style cheese, Italian sausage, red onions, peppers, mushrooms and bacon slices.
