High Marks for TopSource Third Not-for-Resale Event

BOSTON, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A record number of attendees participated in the recent 2012 TopSource Summit, the largest not-for-resale event in the retail and grocery industry.  TopSource LLC, a leading sourcing company for retailers and wholesalers, hosted the multi-day conference which included business meetings, industry seminars, networking opportunities, and tradeshow.  More than 700 people attended the third biennial event in Las Vegas, including more than 200 procurement professionals from forty-three grocery, retail and wholesale companies plus 150 suppliers representing multiple business areas.  

Survey feedback gave the event high marks as attendees noted strong networking opportunities, effective roundtable discussions, quality face-to-face meetings, and good trade show layout.   John Laing, Compliance Manager & Purchasing Agent of Hy-Vee, Inc., a large supermarket chain based out of West Des Moines, Iowa, had positive comments regarding the 2012 event. The agenda also included a presentation and live demonstration of the on-line e-Auction tool offered by TopSource.

A key component of the TopSource Summit is the pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings held between TopSource customers and suppliers.
