High Point Auto Insurance Named One of the Best Places to Work in NJ

This annual "Best Places to Work" award program identifies, recognizes and honors the top places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. The Best Places to Work in New Jersey program is made up of 70 companies split into two groups: small/medium-sized companies (15-249 employees) and large-sized companies (more than 250 employees). High Point Auto Insurance has been named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey – one of only 41 companies to receive this honor in the large-sized company category.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 70 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This phase was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This phase was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

The award program was created in 2005 by NJBIZ, a weekly business journal covering the news across New Jersey. NJBIZ, program sponsors and partners will honor this year's 70 Best Places to Work and announce their ranking during an awards dinner and ceremony on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Hilton East Brunswick.
