High Speed Video Adds New Executive Vice President of Strategic Development to Executive Ranks
Bob Russell joins desktop telepresence services' company to support continued expansion within new vertical markets and applications
RAMSEY, N.J., March 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- High Speed Video (HSV), the only provider of software based enterprise-grade video communications and desktop-telepresence as an end-to-end managed service, announced today that it is expanding its executive team with the appointment of Bob Russell as executive vice president of strategic development reporting to Michael Maresca, CEO of High Speed Video.

Bob brings global sales, marketing, technology, and governance experience to HSV, most recently as CEO-in-residence at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. In this capacity Bob was responsible for commercializing the university's intellectual property and various new technologies with global technology brands and Fortune 500 companies.
Previously, Bob was chairman and CEO of Axeda, the leading machine-to-machine (M2M) application platform company for deploying and managing connected products in a cloud based environment. Prior to this Bob was President of Thomson Learning, Lifelong Learning Group, a division of the Thomson Corporation. Earlier in his career, Bob served as the President of the Construction Information Group at the McGraw-Hill Companies and served several executive roles at Digital Equipment Corporation and other technology companies.
In these roles Bob Russell has been recognized as a builder of businesses and delivering record revenues and award winning results under his leadership. He currently serves on board of directors of several companies.
At HSV, Bob will be responsible for expanding the company's sales, business development, product roadmap and strategic alliances' initiatives for HSV's fully managed SaaS based desktop Telepresence and video conferencing services.
