BOSTON, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- High Start Group, a consulting firm that specializes in product strategy for online and mobile services that target SMBs or consumers, invites marketers, product marketers, product managers, and product strategists to attend a FutureM panel on Product Strategy 2.0. The panel, "The Road to Product Strategy 2.0: Marketing's Leadership for User, Social and Viral Methodologies," takes place on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 10:00am at the Microsoft NERD Center, Cambridge, Mass. Registration and networking will open at 9:30am. There is no charge for attendance; those interested in attending can register here.
According to Kiki Mills, president of MITX and FutureM committee member, "High Start Group's session on the evolution of the product strategy process – one that looks beyond product development to include information and perspectives from various constituencies – demonstrates the expansive world of marketing. A world where marketing itself starts early in the product development process and extends far beyond product introduction."
"Product strategy, and subsequently product development, can no longer be an isolated process," said Janet Muto, co-founder and managing partner, High Start Group. "Instead, companies need to develop products and services after gathering, analyzing and assessing external information from a variety of sources and through a variety of channels. We'll be exploring how to do this with some of the most thoughtful and strategic product marketing minds today."
The panel includes:
- Moderator Janet Muto, managing partner and co-founder of High Start Group; and panelists:
- Andrew Burton, vice president of access and management at LogMeIn;
- Brian Harrold, chief product officer, Communispace;
- Alo Mukerji, managing director, product strategy at Compete;
- Derek Peplau, director of product at Mzinga; and
- Katie Rae, managing director with Project 11 Ventures.
