High Times Magazine Cover Story "Pot Jobs Start Your Cannabis Career Now!" Lists WeedHire.com as Source for IT Professionals to Find Work

The cover story "Pot Jobs Start Your Cannabis Career Now!" reported that WeedHire regularly lists open positions for e-commerce managers, tech bloggers, and programmers.

On August 7^th, 2014 WeedHire was also featured by Marijuana.com for its analysis of trends within the legal cannabis government jobs sector. WeedHire's report found that some of the highest paying jobs are actually coming from the states that are responsible for regulating and managing these medical and cannabis programs statewide.  

In June, Minnesota State's Health Department posted its first in a series of industry jobs listings. They were seeking a Director of the Office of Medical Cannabis to oversee implementation of the recently-approved medical marijuana program. The job offered pay between $35.35 and $50.70 an hour, which works out to an annual rate of $73,811 to $105,862. That job has been filled with the hiring of Michelle Larson as Director.

More new job listings are being posted on WeedHire every day, including one for an operations supervisor that offers pay ranging from $28.27 to $40.72 hourly or $59,028 to $85,023 annually.

According to the Street.com, the marijuana industry in the US may have already added over 175,000 jobs and that's just the beginning.
