Hiring New Executive Indicates Major Expansion Ahead

Michael Palacios has joined as SCST's new Chief Strategy Officer/Executive VP. SCST has expanded over 100% in the last two years. With the success of SCST and its recent acquisitions, there was a desire to bring on an individual devoted and dedicated to continued corporate growth in current and future markets. His role will be to directly contribute to continued growth by developing and implanting a strategic direction for expanding SCST services, markets, and geographies by focusing on organic growth and through acquisitions that fit the SCST vision and culture.

Michael Palacios has over 22 years of experience in the engineering industry with a proven ability to manage and grow a professional services practice in the transportation industry, including: environmental, planning, engineering, program/construction management, and architecture. He is well established in the California market - having strong relationships with various agencies, contractors, and engineering consultant organizations. With a focus on client relationships and developing a strategic approach, Michael has demonstrated the ability to build teams that have successfully delivered on some of the most complex and large scale infrastructure projects in Southern California.
