This announcement follows recent announcements from HIRO about partnerships to garner third-party brand-safety tools.
The integration with IAS will make HIRO Media one of the first companies to comply with the Viewable Impression Measurement Guidelines proposed by the Media Rating Council (MRC). The viewability capabilities will be accompanied by IAS's brand-safety tools; together with Adometry (HIRO's other brand-safety partner), this new partnership will help augment HIRO's measurement services.
The "viewable impression measurement" is a cross-industry initiative and part of the Making Measurement Make Sense (3MS) mission, which was founded by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As), the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and the Media Rating Council (MRC), which is responsible for setting and implementing measurement standards.
