SYRACUSE, N.Y., Feb. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Holistic Blends, Inc. has announced the launch of a new website www.holisticblends.com and the publication of a second edition of their bestselling book, Great Taste No Pain. The new site, which was over a year in the making, provides the first refresh to the company's online presence in over seven years.

Holistic Blends was launched in 2007 when nutritionist and holistic health consultant Sherry Brescia, MSHN, published her first book, Great Taste No Pain. The book described Sherry's personal journey back to health after suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome for 15 years. Faced with a diagnosis that would see her needing anti-spasmodic stomach medication before every meal for the rest of her life, she turned to alternative medicine where she discovered the special diet she expounds in her books.

The second edition of Great Taste No Pain features an expanded section on digestive health, as well as updates to the existing 121 recipes including 16 brand new recipes. The book also now includes a plate section with color photographs of several of the recipes.

A second book authored by Sherry, Great Taste No Gluten features her signature food combining system tailored for the millions of Americans with gluten sensitivities. The 158 recipes in the book are entirely gluten-free. A second edition of Great Taste No Gluten will be launched in early 2015 with additional recipes and color photos.

In addition to the books they publish, Holistic Blends offers four pharmaceutical-grade nutritional supplements in their e-store. These include their bestseller, SuperShield Probiotic and Hydroxaden 2.5, a B-12 oral spray. They also publish a daily health newsletter, which reaches nearly 300,000 subscribers.

Prior to launching their new website, www.holisticblends.com, the company operated separate websites for each of their product categories—digestive health, gluten-free digestive health, and nutritional supplements. The new site places all of the products under one digital roof and provides for easier customer order tracking and speedier delivery times. The new site also includes a wealth of alternative health information penned by Brescia and her holistic health research team.
