HRIFF 2011 will be the biggest celebration of independent cinema since the festival's inception.  Showcasing the most extensive collection of undiscovered independent films from around the world, alongside work from some of Hollywood's best-known names, HRIFF 2011 will feature more than 50 new films, including the work of HRIFF winners Camilo Vila, Martin Jern, Emil Larsson, Ryan Eggold, Alexander Tuschinski, Jason M. Solomon, Maclain Nelson, Michael Peer, Marc Saltarelli, Chel White, Nicolas Steil, and more talented newcomers to the independent film scene.

Relative newcomers to independent film will be joined by some of the most accomplished names in Hollywood, including Gerard Depardieu (La Vie en Rose, Cyrano de Bergerac), Mathias Gnadinger (Swiss Best Actor nominee), Tom Bower (Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call), Alex Meraz (Twilight), John Robinson (Elephant, Lords of Dogtown), Jeremy Sisto (Six Feet Under, Law & Order), Jonathan Silverman (Weekend At Bernie's), Gary Cole (Pineapple Express), and Danny Strong (Mad Men).
