Home and Communities Agency Appoints Barratt Developments to All Three of Its Delivery Partner Panels

LONDON, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) today announced that Barratt Developments has been appointed to its Delivery Partner Panels in each of the Northern, Central and Southern regions.

Barratt is one of only two major UK housebuilders appointed to all three panels. It is now in a position to bid for further major projects on HCA and Local Authority-owned land across the country.

"The work of the HCA has been vitally important to the sector during the last 12 months and the land which it owns is an important element of our current and future land supply.

"We are already working successfully with the HCA on a number of major projects such as Allerton Bywater in Leeds, Upton in Northampton and Hanham Hall in Bristol, the first Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 zero carbon community.

"We have other exciting partnerships such as Silverdale Colliery in Staffordshire and Lambton Cokeworks in Sunderland approved and in the pipeline.

In addition to working on the HCA's own projects, panel members will also be able to bid on projects brought forward by Local Authorities and other public agencies for developments on their landholdings.
