Following the success of last years Affordable Design Awards, Bathrooms.com have launched the Home Design awards for 2014
Bathrooms.com are once again on the look out for the UK's top bloggers, but this time in the home design space. As advocates as of luxury design at affordable prices, the awards will celebrate bloggers and citizen journalists that are inspiring the nation with their creative eye for home design.
Nominations are open now and can be made here.
The competition is open to all bloggers who share ideas and tips for home design, whether they have been writing for weeks or for many years. The bloggers who are shortlisted by the judging panel will then be entered in to a public vote. A separate Judges' choice Award will also be presented to recognise up and coming and emerging talent.
The categories this year will be:
- Home Design Award 2014
- Affordable Design Award 2014
- Best Bathrooms Revamp Blog Post 2014
- Home Design DIY Award 2014
- Judges' Choice Home Design Award 2014
- Home Design Twitter Award 2014
On the judging panel will be Co- founder and Director of Bathrooms.com Rebekah Monk joined by Social Media specialist Alex Sass who will be carefully reading all the entries, on the look out for individual style that is delivered with passion and credibility.
Rebekah said "We relish the chance to celebrate bloggers in the home design space. Our aim with the competition is to discover and highlight the websites, blogs and social media profiles that truly inspire the home design community.
Alex said "It is not only blogs and websites that are leading the way in home design, some of the most inventive and unique trendsetters are reaching people through Pinterest, Twitter even Instagram. The way we feel about design can be influenced through all kinds of online mediums and this competition is a way to support and congratulate these people.
Nominations will close 4th April followed by a public vote that will run from 9th to 18th April. The overall winner will be announced Monday 21th April.
Any style of blog, website or social media page can be nominated providing it is active in the online world of "home design" including but not limited to DIY, craft, interiors and family sites. Blogs owned entirely by a commercial brand are not eligible to be entered.
