Home Photographed by VHT Studios Is Chosen "House of the Year" by WSJ.com Readers

CHICAGO, Jan. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Out of some 200 homes profiled through photos and slide shows last year in WSJ.com's House of the Day feature, readers voting on their favorite chose a home that was photographed by VHT, Inc., a leading provider of visual and digital marketing services to top real estate agents and brokerage firms.

The newspaper's "House of the Year" contest drew 456,939 total votes in December, with the VHT-photographed home claiming 52,633 votes to become the clear winner.  (View photos from the Wall Street Journal House of the Year.)  The 5,700-square foot home handily beat out 48 other House of the Week winners.  The House of the Day is chosen by Wall Street Journal real estate staff after reviewing large, upscale properties in for-sale listings across the country.

The pagoda-style home presented in the VHT Studios' photographs was described by WSJ.com as "a mix of architectural styles, with echoes of Frank Lloyd Wright and a dash of 1970s interior design."  It is located in Riverwoods, IL, and is listed for just under $2 million.
