TACOMA, Wash., Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A new website is helping homebuyers save up to thousands of dollars by creating competition among real estate agents.
Agenis allows homebuyers to seek bids from agents in their area. These agents can then respond by offering homebuyers a proposed credit toward their purchase.
"The service is completely free for homebuyers and it only takes about a minute to request bids," explained Agenis CEO Noah Reandeau.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, credits or rebates from real estate agents "can save consumers several thousand dollars in a single transaction". For example, if a homebuyer purchases a $300,000 home, a 1% agent credit would save $3,000.
"This is real money, and it's so easy," noted Reandeau. "Agenis is doing everything that we can to help hardworking Americans by making the dream of home ownership more affordable."
Interested homebuyers can request bids from agents in their area by visiting the company's website at www.agenis.com.
