DALLAS, Sept. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeVestors of America (the 'We Buy Ugly Houses®" company), has recruited its 500th franchisee, marking a 25 percent increase in franchisees just since the end of 2013.
"This remarkable growth is just one indicator of the robust interest being shown in buying single family homes for income," explained David Hicks, co-president of HomeVestors. The growth of the company has been in states all over the U.S., Hicks added. "We now have franchises in 40 states and 120 different markets. And, even though our franchises increased the sales dollars of houses sold by 58 percent last year, total sales dollars have increased another 40 percent this year over last year."
Hicks noted that the growth rate in new franchisees has steadily increased as the brand has become better known and grown in recognition. "At the end of 2010, we had 166 franchisees. In 2013, the franchise network totaled to just over 400 franchises. This year, the pace of new franchisee growth is even more brisk."
