The new pita packaging is 100% recyclable and features a resealable zipper closure, removing the need for a plastic clip. It also does away with the inner cellophane wrap, further reducing plastic waste while delivering a sleeker package both on shelf and at home. Packaging improvements are expected to reduce overall plastic consumption by more than 40 tons a year.
