Former LinkedIn Executive Tapped to Lead Talent Acquisition for Agency's New York Office

NEW YORK, Jan. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Horizon Media, the largest and fastest growing privately held media services agency in the world, announced today that it has hired Larry Curran as Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Curran is charged with overseeing and leading talent recruitment activities for the agency's New York office. He will report to Eileen Benwitt, Chief Talent Officer at Horizon Media, effective immediately.

Curran has an impressive portfolio and over 25 years of experience managing complex talent acquisition, staffing and consulting assignments across varied industries. He joins Horizon from LinkedIn, where he held a number of positions over more than four years. Most recently at LinkedIn, Curran was Manager of Customer Success, charged with elevating LinkedIn clients and partners to become the best talent acquisition professionals they can be.

Prior to working at LinkedIn, Larry Curran spent two years leading staffing as Vice President Professional Staffing U.S at Advantage Resourcing for its offices in Stamford CT, New York, N.Y, Washington D.C, Rockville Maryland, Dallas Texas, Los Angeles CA, Costa Mesa CA and Chicago IL. Previously, Curran held positions at Robert Half International as a Regional Manager; and as Vice President of Sales at HRLogix.

Curran was honored with a Humor Award at the LinkedIn Global Sales Kickoff annual meeting in 2014, for his work making the organization a place people want to be and sharing his passion with his peers. Curran was certified as a LinkedIn Certified Professional–Recruiter in 2013.
