CHICAGO, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Get ready baseball fans. The all-new $500 million Horseshoe Casino, located just 20 minutes from downtown Chicago, is thrilled to announce its newest promotion: "Hit Me. One Fan. $1 Million."

Beginning on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, Horseshoe will give away one million dollars* to one lucky fan if a Chicago baseball player hits the left-field Horseshoe billboard on the fly during the 2010 season.

The public will have seven days after the date of the home run to enter for a chance to be the one lucky winner. Entry will be available for free with a Total Rewards card at a self-swipe kiosk located near the Total Rewards Center at Horseshoe Casino, or by mail. Total Rewards and the promotion are open to persons over the age of 21 and free of charge to sign up.

The last time a homerun hit one of the rooftops was on May 11, 2000, when Glenallen Hill stroked a monstrous shot across Waveland Avenue. The baseball was estimated to have traveled over 500 feet before hitting the rooftop.
