Former Peer 1 Executive, Tim Varma, brings decades of experience to company
HOLLYWOOD, Fla., Feb. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- WHOA.com, a leading cloud computing company today announced the hiring of industry veteran Tim Varma as the company's Chief Strategy Officer.

In this position, Varma, whose career includes a previous position with Peer 1 Hosting as the Senior VP of Product Development, is responsible for researching and evaluating new technology, business models and other innovations which can improve company performance, working with the CEO to develop and implement company-wide short and long-term strategic initiatives and to communicate company objectives and strategies to all levels of the company and its partners.
Prior to joining Whoa, the Georgia native worked for over 8 years with Peer 1, starting with the company as the Director of Product Management and working his way up to the executive team. While there, he was responsible for creating and sustaining products that supported Peer 1's $180+ million in revenue, and successfully helped grow the company's hosting revenue from $35 million before he was brought into the role. In addition, he was in charge of the company's entire public, private and hybrid cloud strategies.

Previously, Varma served as the Manager of Sales Engineering for Interland, Inc. (purchased by Peer 1 in 2005) where he not only managed a sales team, but also collaborated in the design, development, implementation and launch for all dedicated hosting products, and created and implemented solutions-oriented approaches to sales.
His early career in the industry included a senior systems engineer for Expanets where he was responsible for Cisco & IBM Server, Storage and Network Architectures. He began his professional work with Profession Management Technology as a Lead Systems Engineer where he planned, designed, implemented and supported customer networks nationwide.
A graduate from The University of Georgia with a BBA in Management Information Systems, today, Varma resides in Miami, Fla.
