The gathering at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North will cover all aspects of virtual data centers –including virtual servers, storage, backup and disaster recovery – and their ability to help organizations reduce IT spending, strengthen data protection, and facilitate regulatory compliance.

The event will begin at 4:30 pm with a workshop titled "Getting Cloud Computing Right" led by Brooks Butler, Technical Account Management Americas, DataCore Software. It will be followed at 5:30 pm with a panel discussion moderated by Jeffrey Slapp, Host.net's VP of Virtualization Services. Panelists will include Butler; Bill Dufresne, Lead Consulting Systems Engineer, Cisco; Patrick Phelan, Southeast Regional Sales Manager, Dell; and David Krafft, Channel Sales Manager - Florida, VMware Inc.

The interactive panel discussion will address key issues faced by many IT managers and C-level executives in the development of new or ongoing virtualization strategies within their organizations.
