DALLAS, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To make selecting the perfect Bay Area hotel a bit more obvious, Hotels.com® today recognized the top San Francisco hotel properties based on reviews from travelers who have actually stayed in the hotels.

Using a database of more than 11 million genuine hotel reviews that are verified upon the completion of each guest's stay, Hotels.com compiled the list of top San Francisco properties according to average guest rating between 4.0 and 5.0 and total submitted reviews. The average guest rating among all San Francisco hotel properties was 3.8.
