HPTi is Finalist for Twelve American Business Awards

RESTON, Va.,  June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTi), a company focused on technology solutions for the federal government, has been named a finalist for 12 American Business Awards. This is the fourth consecutive year that the mid-sized company has had 100% of its nominees accepted as finalists for the national awards. The American Business Awards, nicknamed the Stevies, are the only national, all-encompassing awards honoring great performances in business. In 2009, HPTi was named the Best Overall Company, and the company has boasted the Best Technical Professional in the country for the past two years.

This year, HPTi is a finalist for Best Community Service Committee, Best Marketing Department, Best Communications Department, Best Support Team, and Best Internal Recognition Event. HPTi employees are up for Best Human Resources Executive, Best Technical Professional, Best Finance Executive, Best Corporate Communicator, Best Support Staffer, Best Product Developer, and Best Customer Service Executive.

More than 2,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and specialized final judging committees will select Stevie Award winners from among Finalists in final judging that will continue through May 28. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May.
