H&P/TRIAD Hires Chief Operating Officer

HARTLAND, Wis., Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- H&P Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of OTC drug products has announced the hiring of Eamonn Vize to fill the Chief Operating Officer's (COO) role.  

Vize brings over 20 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology field to H&P mostly with Abbott Laboratories. He will provide his knowledge of Pharmaceutical Operations and Validations to H&P as they begin to restart their operations.

Located at H&P's Hartland, Wisconsin facility, he will report directly to H&P President Eric Haertle. "Eamonn's experience in dealing with the FDA while at Abbott and his strong Operational skills will provide tremendous value to our company as we continue our road to recovery," said Haertle.

Vize has performed and managed a variety of projects including supervising multiple facility start-ups. He has been appointed to lead Task Force Projects and FDA Pre-Approval inspection Teams. He has received a President's Award for Outstanding Performance as well as numerous divisional Awards for his leadership and Project Management while at Abbott Laboratories.

With a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Wisconsin Professional Engineer's License (Chemical), Vize also has a Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) certification and an American Society of Quality (ASQ)-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
