On Saturday, December 14, Parilee E. , a frequent Fitz patron, was playing a statewide progressive 25-cent Wheel of Fortune® machine at the Fitz Casino when she hit a jackpot worth $152,609.48. She estimates she had only been playing for about 3 minutes before winning big.
Parilee had one immediate reaction after hitting the jackpot. "Hallelujah!" She plans to use her winnings to remodel her home, and to help her daughter.
This is the third-largest jackpot to be won at the Fitz in the past six months. On Friday, June 28, Brunhilde C. won $8.3 million dollars as she played a 25-cent statewide progressive Wheel of Fortune® machine. Lightning struck for a second time at the Fitz on July 21 as Christopher B. was playing a $5.00 statewide progressive Wheel of Fortune® machine and hit a jackpot worth over $3 million dollars.
"We are thrilled for Parilee," said Rick Casagrande, Executive Director of Marketing for Fitz Casino & Hotel. "Three major jackpots in less than six months' time definitely proves that it pays to play at the Fitz. Luck definitely lives here, and it's here to stay!"
