Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, AFF was held on Jan.17 and Jan.18, 2011. The two-day event gathered many of the world's most influential leaders in business, finance and government, sharing their opinions on major issues, challenges and opportunities in the Asian region. The AFF 2011 topic is "Asia: Reshaping the Global Agenda." Professor K C Chan, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, delivered a speech on "Challenges to Asia in a Global Environment of Low Interest Rates and Excess Liquidity," which concerned all participants.
