NEW YORK, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- i3 America, the US division of i3 Group, a pioneer in building dark fiber optic networks using ready-made ducts including the sewer system to enable super fast connectivity, announced today that the Company will serve as a Platinum Sponsor of the 2010 FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) Conference and Expo taking place September 12-16 at the Venetian Hotel-Resort-Casino in Las Vegas.
The Conference and Expo, the largest FTTH gathering in the US, will serve as the venue to help introduce i3 America and the i3 Group to the more than 2,000 industry leaders in attendance. Utilizing internationally patented technologies and methodologies, i3 Group deploys fiber optic infrastructure through wastewater networks which significantly reduces the high costs and disruption associated with traditional deployment methods. The Company's Fibrecity™ Network is an open-access platform that provides cost effective FTTH connectivity. Fibrecity networks are currently being rolled out in England, Scotland and Australia.
