CLEVELAND, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Video is hot in communications, with increasingly more industry professionals looking to develop skills in video production. To meet this need, the Cleveland Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) will offer communications, marketing, media and PR professionals an opportunity to tour a leading area medical center's video studio at its October breakfast program.

Attendees can tour the state-of-the-art video studio at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and learn how this world renowned healthcare provider successfully uses video in its communications programs.
Open to members and non-members, the tour and informational breakfast is scheduled for Tuesday, October 19 at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center from 8 – 9:30 am. Vic Gideon, senior media relations strategist, University Hospitals, will lead the tour and inform attendees about recent trends in corporate and healthcare communications. Gideon will also discuss how the studio plays an important role in shaping the hospital's image.
The studio has hosted several national television interviews with programs such as Larry King Live and Good Morning America. Gideon will provide tips for appearing on networks such as CNN. He will also address changes in the video landscape, how newsrooms have tightened their policies, the demise of the video news release and ways to get videos exposure in this media landscape.
The tour will begin promptly at 8 am, leaving from the Lerner Tower lobby. Breakfast will follow. There will be a question and answer session after the tour and presentation. Valet parking is available at the Lerner Tower main entrance.
Separate costs are available for members, non-members, students and IABC members who are currently in transition between professional employment opportunities.
