IAC Appoints Kerry Trainor Chief Executive Officer of Vimeo

NEW YORK, March 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- IAC (Nasdaq: IACI) announced today that Kerry Trainor is joining Vimeo as Chief Executive Officer, beginning Monday, March 26.  Dae Mellencamp will continue as President and work closely with Mr. Trainor to drive Vimeo's ongoing growth.

Mr. Trainor joins Vimeo from AOL, Inc. (Nasdaq: AOL) where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Entertainment for the Huffington Post Media Group. In this position he oversaw AOL's portfolio of entertainment properties including AOL Music, AOL TV, Moviefone, Huffington Post Entertainment, Huffington Post Celebrity and Huffington Post Comedy. Prior to AOL, Mr. Trainor was co-founder and CEO of FlipGloss Media, which was acquired by Forbes Media in 2009.  Prior to FlipGloss, Mr. Trainor was Head of Global Media Products for Yahoo! Music. He began his Internet career at music startup LAUNCH.com which was acquired by Yahoo!.
