CORP (IBS, N.A.) today announced the commencement of their $225MM open-ended IBS Small Balance Investment Real Estate Fund, VI which will make, manage and operate investments in the small balance real estate space. Backed by 4 major institutional investors, the real estate fund will originate senior credit facilities secured by income producing commercial properties. With a target investment size ranging from $250k-$3MM, the fund provides investors access to long term debt capital for acquisitions, rate and term or cash out refinances. Additionally, the fund will serve as a vehicle for the acquisition of value added multifamily and retail opportunities within the South Florida market.
