ICON Selected Again as One of The Best Places to Work in CT

This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Connecticut, benefiting the state's economy, workforce and businesses. The program was created by the Hartford Business Journal, Best Companies Group and sponsored by The Hooker & Holcombe Companies.

ICON competed against many other companies statewide for the position. The Best Companies to Work for in CT are selected based on a stringent two-part employee survey process conducted by a third party. The first part of the survey consisted of an evaluation of each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part was designed to measure employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

ICON scored high marks in the following categories: (1) organization philosophy (2) individual employee opinion and (3) team infrastructure.  Employees also expressed gratification with the company's strong leadership, compensation and benefits, support for work-life balance, communication practices and corporate citizenship.
