iCracked Helps Provide Job Opportunities to Emancipated Foster Youth

But most importantly, the iPhone repair location will be on the ground floor of The Palace, which was remodeled by LINC Housing, one of the key partners in the overall development, to house emancipated foster youth of California.

According to the United Friends of the Children, emancipated foster youth is a high risk group with 36% becoming homeless after leaving foster care. iCracked will hire store employees from a pool of former foster youth (ages 18-24) that will live above the store. By providing this group with a stable employment opportunity, these former foster youth are able to develop the skills and habits necessary to enter into society and succeed.
