ID Analytics Strengthens Management Team With Appointment of Senior Executives

SAN DIEGO, March 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ID Analytics, Inc., a leader in consumer risk management, today announced the addition of three senior executives to its management team and two strategic customer relationship executives. Steven Seoane has joined the company as vice president of enterprise solutions, Dr. Joseph Barr as chief scientist and Felice Rando as director of analytics. Seoane, Barr and Rando bring a half century of product development, strategy, analytics and technical leadership to the Company. Two new customer executives, Ken Pruett and Eric Gunderson, will provide deeper relationship expertise.

Steven Seoane will lead ID Analytics' Enterprise Product group and will be responsible for leveraging the company's enterprise capabilities to drive new growth. He has more than 15 years of experience building and leading high performing product, analytical and technical teams in challenging environments.

In his previous role as vice president of credit risk and analytics at LexisNexis, Seoane was responsible for product and market development, as well as revenue growth for credit risk and analytic solutions. While at LexisNexis, Seoane helped the company achieve double-digit revenue growth for new products while reducing costs. Prior to LexisNexis, he held senior positions at Choicepoint and Capital One. Seoane is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and earned an MBA from the University of Maryland.

As an expert in statistical modeling, Dr. Joseph Barr will lead strategic research and development activities at ID Analytics, providing continued innovation and technical leadership for the Company's analytics team. He brings a wealth of high-end analytics consulting experience from the financial services, government and healthcare industries, among others.

Most recently, he was the chief technology officer at Chi Analytics, an organization that provides analytical services for the financial services industry, where he initiated all IP development and implementation. Prior to his role at Chi Analytics, Barr worked with organizations including Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan, Lockheed Martin, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as an independent statistical consultant. Barr is a graduate of Florida State University and earned a Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico.

An experienced data scientist, business consultant and entrepreneur, Felice Rando will be responsible for managing all of ID Analytics' mainline modeling projects, as well as client services and support activities. Most recently, he served as an analytics business consultant with KXEN. Prior to KXEN, Rando held the position of director of analytics at First Data Corporation, where he developed dozens of predictive models in credit risk, fraud and marketing for well-known financial and retail institutions. Early in his career, he was a research scientist at the University of Washington. Rando earned a master's in statistics from Universita degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza' and a master's of applied statistics from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
