IE Discovery's CEO, Chris May, to Lead Discussion on Legal Holds at InsideCounsel SuperConference

AUSTIN, Texas, April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- IE Discovery, a leading provider of comprehensive Discovery Management solutions to the legal community, today announced its CEO, Chris May, will be leading the panel on legal holds at the 2012 InsideCounsel SuperConference. The session will be co-presented with Jason Fliegel, Senior Counsel and Director of eDiscovery and Records Management at Abbott Laboratories, and Deborah Ratterman-Warnecke, Director of Discovery Services and Legal Hold Coordinator at Sears Holdings Corporation.

The session, entitled "Litigation Holds – Varying Approaches and Solutions," will take place on Tuesday, April 24, at 3:45 p.m. "Implementing a litigation hold can be an onerous burden," says May. "The stakes are too high for in-house counsel to not have a good understanding and process in place."

In the panel discussion, May and the panel will discuss the different perspectives on legal holds and data collection of the legal department and records management; different approaches to collection including both the "custodian" and "enterprise" method; and helpful tools that provide a solution.
