NEW YORK, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ubiquity Global Services, a leading outsourcing organization with deep expertise in the payments and technology spaces, today announced that Ray Iglesias, current Ubiquity CEO, has been additionally named chairman of the company's board of directors.  In addition, Ron Fetzer, former CFO of Bill Blass, Ltd, has joined the company as Vice President of Finance.

Ray Iglesias has been Ubiquity's CEO and has served on its board since its founding. Prior to joining Ubiquity, Ray served as the CFO of TxVia. He previously co-founded Prepaid Media and Clarity Payment Solutions, which was acquired by TSYS in 2004. "By elevating Ray to Chairman, we are maximizing our ability to use his vision and experience to grow Ubiquity to become the standard bearer for supporting the specialized outsourcing needs for FinTech and payments companies," said board member Jonathan Weiner.

"As our business continues to expand in size, geography and sophistication, the need for strong corporate governance grows accordingly," said Matthew Nyren, Ubiquity's founder and president. "Supporting FinTech and payments requires high levels of domain expertise, and Ray's background is ideally suited to help our company continue to serve as a market leader in these disciplines."

Ron Fetzer is a seasoned accounting executive with more than 20 years diversified public and private accounting and corporate leadership experience including accounting, finance, treasury, taxation, human resources and operations. Before joining Ubiquity, Ron was a financial advisor and interim CFO for several public and privately held companies. This experience includes leading the finance team during the sales of TxVia to Google. Previously, Ron served as chief financial officer for Bill Blass and in various financial management roles at other companies such as NexCen Brands, Inc.

"I have worked with Ron for many years now at both TxVia and Ubiquity, and I am proud that he is formally joining Ubiquity to lead our company's finance division," Iglesias said. "Ron's leadership experience in both public and private companies - in the United States and abroad - will be a great asset to Ubiquity as we continue our rapid expansion."
