New enhancements advance reporting precision, Method of Detection tracking, and clinical workflow efficiency

The release was deployed the evening of September 15 and includes enhancements to Method of Detection tracking and reporting, along with additional performance improvements.
Advancing Breast Imaging Reporting
Ikonopedia 2026.08.0 incorporates updated terminology defined by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in the latest BI-RADS manual. The updates span mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and pathology workflows, helping reduce ambiguity and support more consistent reporting.
Among the terminology changes are the removal of terms such as "developing asymmetry" in mammography and "focus" in breast MRI. By incorporating the updated terminology directly into its structured reporting workflows, Ikonopedia helps radiologists seamlessly align with evolving breast imaging standards.

Enhanced auditing and reporting capabilities allow customers to analyze Method of Detection through administrative and analytics reporting, providing greater insight into breast cancer detection and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
