Illinois Tool Works Inc. Announces New Executive Vice President
GLENVIEW, Ill., Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW) today announced that its Board of Directors has elected Christopher O'Herlihy executive vice president, with responsibility for the Company's global food equipment businesses which include brand names such as Hobart, Vulcan, Traulsen and Wolf.
Mr. O'Herlihy, 47, has been with ITW for 21 years and has held a series of operational, management, and leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as president, worldwide food equipment group. He holds an undergraduate degree from University College Cork in Ireland and a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts.
